The question I ask myself as an entertainment fanatic is “whether our artists are really working hard as they pararde themselves as doing”? The music industry in Ghana can boast of several good talents from EL, Edem, M.anifest, JTown, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini and alots more that I cant even mention. Some making it commercially whilst others are making equally good music but not enough to bring them to lam-lights.
This not being the first time in the Best International Act Africa Category where there is just a single representative from Ghana whilst other countries are getting double nominations. What really accounts for that? Is there a procedure they know about whilst we don’t? How can an industry like ours watch this happen continuously without trying to stop it from becoming a routine followed by the scheme organizers. Or is it that there is rivalry between the our artistes and industry insiders?
These are all questions that needs to answered without delay.
The president of the MUSIGA is not even respected as authority enough to perhaps become the mouth piece of the music fraternity as a whole only because some good talents do not count themselves as members of the union and that is been done without hiding reasons behind their excuse of not being part which to some extent they have a point.

In there is Stonebwouy and the only thing happening in GH social media is a troll on his dance hall rival Shatta Wale instead of asking question why other countries had double or triple nominations for artiste who are not extremely talented than our very own stars. God save this industry..
