Miss Campus
Yesterday evening saw the crowning of Miss Tertiary on the campus of UDS. The tertiary schools involved were UDS, Nusrat Jahan College Of Education, and Wa poly with UDS topping in numbers of contestants.

In general I will classify the event as the most boring and unorganized event I have been to as we commenced 2014.
Eventhough the concept leading to the organizing the event needs to be applauded to encourage more of such programs to empower the ladies in the tertiary institutions in the upper west of Ghana.
There was serious back lashes from the audience during and after the event owing to the fact that the organizers of the event did not do a great job in the organization of the event.
Even-though through the joint efforts of Mcees and the Dj of the night(Dj Tyga) they tried very well to breathe life into the event by some of their antics which was succeeding but became obsolete as time went on.
Some of the artistes on the UDS campus treated the audience with stunning performances.
